Business Need​ ​

The Ohio State University (OSU) planned an upgrade to their current PeopleSoft Campus Solutions v9.0 software. The goal was to execute a technical upgrade to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions v9.2 in an expedited manner. With this upgrade, the latest PUM from Oracle was also needed to be installed. KTech provided automated testing services using PETA, our proprietary tool for PeopleSoft Test Automation.​​

Our Solution

 

KTech started with over 400 pre-built PTF scripts which were customized based on customizations and business processes. We used our test automation tool, PETA, which sits on top of PTF scripts with features such as dashboards, reports, schedule creation, test cycle creation, upload of test data to be used by test scripts, retest use cases, retest test cycles, cloning test cycles from one environment to another to save times, defect monitoring, reporting of multiple defects per test case, and many more features which were used throughout the test cycles and in each environment. ​​
